AFC - Toufik Ayadi et Christophe Barral, producteurs, lauréats du Prix Daniel Toscan du Plantier 2020

Le Prix Daniel Toscan du Plantier distingue chaque année la productrice ou le producteur qui aura le plus marqué l'année cinématographique écoulée. Ce lundi 24 février 2020, Dominique Boutonnat, président du CNC, a remis le Prix Daniel Toscan du Plantier 2020 à Toufik Ayadi et Christophe Barral.

Ils ont été élus au terme d'un vote effectué entre le 12 et le 24 février 2020, par un collège électoral de 1 337 votants, composé de tous les artistes et techniciens ayant fait l'objet d'une nomination aux César depuis 2008, année de création du prix, ainsi que des 47 membres de l'Assemblée Générale de l'Académie.

Toufik Ayadi et Christophe Barral ont produit, au sein des Films du Worso, une vingtaine de courts métrages et ont fondé leur société, SRAB Films, en 2015. Ils ont produit, en 2019, Les Misérables, de Ladj Ly.
