Afin de supprimer les écarts de rémunération entre les femmes et les hommes ; le décret n° 2019-15 du 8 janvier 2019 pris en application de la loi du 5 septembre 2018 « pour la liberté de choisir son avenir professionnel » impose aux entreprises d'au moins 50 salariés d'établir et publier, chaque année, un index de ces disparités.
