Dimanche 12 avril, Arte diffusait un documentaire inédit de Grégory Monro, Kubrick par Kubrick, réalisé à partir d'entretiens sonores avec le cinéaste et dont Michel Ciment, critique de cinéma et directeur de la revue Positif, avait gardé les enregistrements. Alors qu'il maîtrisait chacune des étapes de la fabrication d'un film, il raconte la genèse de ses films et sa manière de travailler, soulignant le fait que « s'y connaître en éclairage, en objectifs et en composition vous aide en tant que réalisateur ».
