Christine Gendre, responsable du service “courts métrages” d'UniFrance, témoigne des conséquences de la pandémie sur l'export des courts-métrages français :

 

"Très clairement, l’impact sur la diffusion se fait sentir. Plusieurs films ayant amorcé un début de carrière prometteur grâce à Sundance, Berlin ou Rotterdam notamment, n’ont pu poursuivre leur lancée sur l’échiquier des manifestations soutenues par UniFrance. Et s’il faut saluer les initiatives de festivals offrant des éditions dématérialisées, il n’en reste pas moins que la plupart se voient contraints de restreindre le nombre de films sélectionnés. Espérons alors que les manifestations reportées au second semestre puissent accueillir et offrir une belle visibilité aux œuvres “nouvelles” pour l’instant mises sur la touche." extrait témoignage sur le site Bref Cinema
