Immense créateurs d’effets spéciaux et autres maquillages prosthétiques, Rick Baker vient d’annoncer qu’il se retirait. Artiste complet, dont les créations ont marqué plusieurs générations de spectateur, il a révélé à l’antenne de 89.3 KPCC qu’il ne désirait plus travailler au sein du système hollywoodien actuel.

 

« Je me suis dit que c’était le bon moment. J’ai 64 ans et l’industrie est devenue folle. J’aime faire les choses bien, et ils veulent que ce soit cheap et vite fait.

 

Ce n’est pas comme ça que je travaille, j’ai donc tout simplement décidé de me retirer. »
