Grâce à la fonction d’« optimisation du stockage », iCloud Drive peut télécharger les fichiers à la volée, et surtout les supprimer automatiquement lorsque l’espace vient à manquer. Avec StrongSync, le développeur du gestionnaire de stockage en ligne ExpanDrive veut prouver que Dropbox et consorts pourraient proposer les mêmes fonctions s’ils daignaient prendre en charge les dernières nouveautés de macOS.
