Ah, c'est bien sympathique de consommer des tonnes de données pour voir des vidéos de lolcat sur son Apple TV ou l'intégrale de Mad Men sur son iPhone entre chez soi et le bureau. Mais ces usages représentent une certaine empreinte carbone. D'ici 2022, les opérateurs mobiles et les fournisseurs d'accès pourraient bien être obligés, par la loi, d'indiquer à leurs clients « les équivalents d’émissions de gaz à effet de serre correspondant à la consommation de données ».
